1. Controller

The controller is J. M. V. C., Spanish tax identification number 30*****3Q, whose public address for these purposes is Málaga, Spain. Email for privacy matters and the exercise of rights: jmvc@jmvc.es. Website: https://uncreyente.es.

No data protection officer has been appointed because, in view of the present nature and scale of the project, there does not appear to be a legal obligation to do so. This position will be reviewed if the activity changes.

2. Legislation and principles

Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 and Spanish Law 34/2002. The aim is to process data that are adequate, relevant and limited to each purpose, for no longer than necessary and with reasonable security measures.

3. “I am here to listen” form

The name, email address, reason, message, date and technical security data are processed in order to read and answer the enquiry, review a suggested contribution to the knowledge base and prevent abuse. The legal basis is consent and, for security purposes, the legitimate interest in protecting the website.

The message is sent to the administrative mailbox and is not published. It is retained for the time necessary to answer and, as a general rule, for no longer than twelve months after the last communication, unless a legal obligation or claim requires otherwise.

When the reason is a contribution to the knowledge base, the administrator will review the information, its source and its consistency with the UNCREYENTE.ES guidelines. The contribution will not be published or added automatically. If inclusion is considered, personal data will not be published and permission or information about authorship and attribution may be requested.

4. Subscription

The email address and evidence of consent are processed in order to send new readings and notices relating to UNCREYENTE.ES. The legal basis is consent. The data are retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.

5. Automated guide

The text of the question and the technical data essential to answer from the knowledge base and maintain security are processed. The present version does not save the conversation in its own database. The answer may contain errors and does not produce decisions with legal effects or profiles.

Do not enter medical information, passwords, bank details, identity documents, addresses, information about a child or personal information about another person.

6. Browsing and security

The hosting service may record an IP address, date, requested page, browser and incidents in order to display and protect the website, diagnose errors and prevent attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest and the data are retained only for the period technically necessary.

7. Special-category data

The website does not request special-category data. A spiritual enquiry may reveal religious or philosophical beliefs; share only what is essential. If you voluntarily include this information, it will be used solely to answer in accordance with the consent given.

8. Recipients and providers

Data are not sold or disclosed for advertising purposes. IONOS, as provider of hosting, domain or email services, a maintenance provider with limited access, or an authority where a legal obligation exists, may have access.

9. International transfers and external resources

The project seeks to use providers within the European Economic Area or providers offering a valid safeguard under the GDPR. Fonts are hosted locally and the configuration reviewed does not use Google Fonts externally, advertising analytics or behavioural advertising. TranslatePress is installed locally and automatic translation is disabled; no visitor text is sent to a translation provider by this configuration.

10. Cookies

The configuration reviewed has not shown an analytics, advertising or tracking cookie during an anonymous visit. WordPress or the hosting service may use a strictly necessary technical cookie for security or administration. If non-essential technology is added, consent will be requested before it is activated and this information will be updated.

11. Children

The website is intended for a general audience and does not seek to collect a child’s data. A child under the age of fourteen must not submit data or subscribe without the authorisation of the person holding parental responsibility or guardianship.

12. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability; withdraw consent; and, where applicable, request not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. Write to jmvc@jmvc.es and state your request.

The exercise of these rights is free unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. A response will normally be provided within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

13. Security, links and changes

Reasonable measures are applied, including an encrypted connection, WordPress updates, restricted access and backups. No system connected to the internet can guarantee absolute security. Each external website is responsible for its own privacy and security.

This policy may be updated if the website, provider or legislation changes. If a change materially affects consent, fresh consent will be requested where necessary.
