For more than fifty years I have read, searched and meditated in an attempt to understand some of the questions that have always accompanied the human being: who I am, what I have come here to do and what gives my life meaning.
I do not present this path as a truth that must be imposed. Nor do I wish to persuade you to accept my conclusions. I simply want to share what I have learnt, what has helped me and the questions that still remain open.
My search has included reading, reflection, prayer and meditation. In time, I came to understand that spiritual knowledge is not simply a matter of accumulating ideas. A teaching acquires value when it helps me to live with greater serenity, to treat another person better and to act with greater awareness.
I have also learnt to distinguish belief from experience. Faith can guide the path, but every idea needs to be examined sincerely. I therefore try to approach spiritual life with humility, without denying doubt and without turning a personal conviction into an obligation for somebody else.
Why I share what I have learnt
I created UNCREYENTE.ES to leave a record of this search. If one reflection helps you to pause, look within or recover hope, this effort will have been worthwhile.
I do not write from a position of perfection. I am still learning and I can be mistaken. If you find an error, I will welcome a respectful observation that allows me to correct it. A sincere search needs openness, discernment and a willingness to put things right.
This site is an invitation to read slowly. You may take what is useful to you, compare it with a reliable source and continue on your own path in freedom.
